  • Friendly and helpful staff — Reviewers highlight staff members like Julie, Maria, Isabel, and Javier for going above and beyond – from tour advice to early kitchen access and late check-in assistance.
  • Clean and well-maintained facilities — Guests repeatedly note the hostel's cleanliness, including kitchens and bathrooms, and appreciate the modern design and comfortable beds.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Limited privacy in dorms — One guest suggested adding privacy curtains to bunks to block light from fellow roommates' lamps, though they noted roommates were generally considerate.
  • No on-site parking — The hostel doesn't list parking, so those arriving by car will need to find public options – likely challenging in the central Eixample area.
  • Check-in window is narrow — Check-in is only between 14:00 and 23:30, which may be inconvenient for late-night arrivals, though one guest mentioned a smooth late check-in.
  • Rating below area average — The hostel's overall rating of 7.0 sits below the Barcelona average of 8.8, though individual reviews are largely positive, suggesting a few less favourable experiences.

“My stay was fantastic – the location is perfect, right in the city centre and close to Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Julie at reception went above and beyond to make me feel at home, acting as a tour guide and offering great support. The common room was comfortable with sofas, a TV, and free drinks and snacks available 24/7. I also liked the door-code entry instead of key cards. No complaints.”

“The staff were super helpful and always keen to suggest great places to see and eat. My first hostel experience was spotless and mostly quiet. The common area had a TV with American shows in English, which I loved. The kitchen and bathrooms were always clean. The modern, new place is in a great central location – near everything. I walked to Las Ramblas in 12 minutes and to Plaça Catalunya in 7 minutes daily. Only minor suggestion: privacy curtains on beds to block light when others turn on lamps, but roommates were considerate. The hostel was amazingly quiet, and I had the bathroom to myself most of the time. Isabel, Javier, and the front desk girl were great.”

“Everything is excellent – design, staff, price, location. If I return to Barcelona, I'll definitely stay again.”

“The staff really made our stay enjoyable. We arrived early and they kindly let us have breakfast while waiting. Maria even let us use the kitchen before it officially opened for a quick bite before our early flight. The services were great, with events like Sangria Night that we discovered on the blackboard. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and separate toilets and baths were thoughtful. The cozy bed ensured a good night's sleep. Complimentary coffee, tea, and apples were available all day. Highly recommend for excellent staff, complete services, and comfort.”
